because with current day cheesing/carrying there are people with the gold curse popping up regularly with very little experience in the game.

Very common to see the gold curse on pirates without much investment in the game yet. Check points aren't a bad thing overall but they definitely make it significantly easier for people to get carried quickly by a friend(s). The time that can be saved and the ease of the process that allows the time to be saved has produced a lot of gold curses.

@fgfoot at the moment? Pirate Legend as it is impossible to obtain unless you have it already. If they bring it back as an obtainable then it would depend upon the "How".

Since the PL curse currently isn’t available, it’s most likely the rarest of all curses. This will change however when it returns to the game. People love glowy stuff and you probably won’t see many Pirates who are not equipping this curse after it’s comeback.

Unless they lock it behind a very hard achievement of course. This way it may stay unique.

Both, both I think would be equally as rare.

pl curse is not going to remain time limited, they’re going to make it obtainable by other means. I think they’re both pretty rare though
