Your issue is that people cheesed it BEFORE the announcement. If you are so against alliance servers cheesing it, why do you reward them?! Use logic, it makes zero sense. Two points that OPPOSE each other. Rare can't do anything because there is no way to separate them. Full stop. Rewarding people who got TSD before the Arena closure announcement is not going to do ANYTHING because there are still a lot of alliance servers who cheesed it before it was announced.

P.S. A genuine TSD is not someone who is TSD before the Arena closure announcement. Don't tell yourself that. You're like a child who got a bunch of presents for his Birthday and is asking for more... so ungrateful

@i-cpt-x if they got it after announcement that doesnt make them fake. Cheesing it makes them fake. Ive seen plenty of people with the lsd/tsd weapons that definitely just allianced to do it.

@i-cpt-x if a dude joined my crew with those weapons I could tell pretty quickly if they got them legit or not. LSD and TSD players are on average fairly skilled. But honestly, you could’ve cheesed it before the announcement anyways so not much will really change.

Does anyone just use cosmetics they think look cool? Instead of what’s hard to get or shows ‘skill’. I guess you could use the cosmetics you think look cool and show skill.

Couldn’t agree more with this, rare need to award the pre announcement (arena closing) TSD’s with either a weapon set or special skin.

That is no easy task for us to achieve, and now the amount of arena alliances is actually putting a downer on the feel of the game.

It’s degrading the worth of having legendary weapons and triumphant weapons, when you see a pirate with these it’s shows your a vet and good at the game.

Now you’ll have alliance server crews running round with these items. It’s super disappointing and in my eyes a form of cheating!!!

problem is alliance arena players getting all achievements without effort and ruining the lasts games
They weren't on arena before and it's killing arena titles
LSD was maybe 10wins a day or less if you play like this since the announcement. Triumphant way more easy because they farm kills with their friends
(2 ships alliance is enough to win barely every lobbies)
they are getting all success.

So LSD/triumphant means nothing for some old arena players now.
If everybody played arena the right way (i mean fighting, not crazy things or playing like pros) i have no problem with Rare actual "gifts"
But it's not the case

That's why i was wondering about a skin for the old players. A skin is nothing for devs and doesn't require lot of work. It just send a good message to the ones who grinded arena

If the devs are aware of that case and working on something as you said it would be perfect. But imo this should be offer to the ones who completed arena BEFORE the closing thing
I'm not even interested in that case because i didn't get my triumphant before the closing so i won't have it

It just seems more fair (to me)

@prorunnerr I don’t though, I have every single ghost item because I’m level 20 and have all the coms done. That’s my point. You already have more cosmetics than people who just hit level 50 and stopped playing.

I saw GrumpyWolf’s suggestion that players like you would get the Midnight Prowl ship set. I feel that would be fair enough, but only for players that had completed every Sea Dog Commendation. The Devs are aware of that request.

If you got level 20 Athena with 100% coms, would you be happy to have the exact same skin as the level 10 athena?

Anyway I'm not crying and I've got every skins i need and played the right way

@fgfoot not really true, if that was the case then we wouldn’t of gotten any ship skins or a new PL weapon set.

Or new PL content next month. It may be late (really late) but that content isn’t for new players.

Technically you’ll have more rewards for getting LSD than people who don’t. Like the whole triumphant Seadog Set.

Also saying the Good Boy set isn’t enough when it was a gift makes you look incredibly entitled.

Just remember that rare is always choosing newbies over veterans. They dont care about opinion of few hundred players. Its better for buisness to listen 99,9% of unhappy players than 0,01 of vets that will play this game anyway. Sad but true

I understand i've already got the weapons and title, but because of those type of players it doesn't mean anything to me.

That's kind of a personal thing though. Many in adventure think Legendary Thief means nothing due to the cheese of alliances as an example among others.

The request might be greedy but i don't understand why they choosed to reward only lvl 50 players and not the players who completed all the achievements or have two of the most difficult titles in the game. Level 50 means nothing...

Imagine being a couple games away from 50 at the announcement. At least you are getting something besides those that played two whole games of arena are getting...

The idea was to reward players who deserved it, right now i just see a lot of players getting the goodboy skin, alliance players getting their LSD and og LSD getting nothing more than everyone

No one got the good boy that wasnt already 50 before the announcement. No one will be getting LSD or TSD stuff if they weren't already close, no matter how hard they try. Hundreds of win, not just 240, to get them all. Multiply it by however many that are teaming because they trade who wins every single game. So 480 games? 720 games? More? No way to do this in a few weeks time.

But it's just my opinion, i'm ok with the closing. I just think it's kinda unfair.

Closing does suck but had to happen for the betterment of the entire game. Just remember, some got dealt a worse hand in all of this.

Wheb the announcement was made good boy + weapons was enough.
But you just have to log on arena these days to tell it's really unfair

It would be unfair too to block every comms before ending imo(some players were 20-30wins away from title)

That's why i was wondering about an other skin like "victorious sea dog"

They told us their descision is done. But this descision to not block comms changed everything and they should notice it

Because i just see Rare's Discord partners doing alliance every weekend and telling to their community how to do it.

I don't know how real this news is, but on some Affiliate Alliance servers here in Brazil they announced that from the 26th it is forbidden to provide tools to make alliance servers and that there would be punishments if that happened. Apparently this will one day encompass not just the Affiliate Alliance servers, but all of them.
