@d3adst1ck It shouldn't. I had the first one equiped as well. After i completed enough challenges i got the "You've unlocked the reward!" Banner, and pulled out the tankard. It upgraded on spot, and i didn't need to equip it from the chest.

Aye! I got the 2 version directly after completing 4 out of 6 of the challenges, and it went straight into my equipment chest. Probably a delay or something

I haven't received the 2nd one yet. I got the first when I logged in, and have completed 5/6 (sharks left..ugh). I've had the first one equipped the entire time so maybe that is causing the delay?

Like Lem0n Curry already said, "only those from Gold Hoarder voyages" and ashen chests count. Did later one my self to save my nerves trying to dig up a chest at Old Faithful while completely drunk.

Nope, AFAIK only those from Gold Hoarder voyages

@personalc0ffee yeah it was the only bilge rat event I missed out on since I was out of town at the time. Thankfully I got the ship set in Shrouded Spoils though, that would’ve been more disappointing to me to have missed out on.

Dude, I don't know what's up with that, that's never been a thing. You could splash someone yes but sobering by being in the water, has to be a bug. Shame it took this event to find it. It is VERY frustrating. I had to just use cannons because it would just keep sobering me, then it's back to the ship to down 3 more grog and hope it don't happen again.

Yes, these are the hard ones.

The easiest ones so far have been the OCs (no bombs required) and the ship - the latter of which was busy doing a shrine, making it incredibly easy (I repaired their ship, left a bit of loot behind, along with a thank you message). 😊

We blasted this guy farming gems at an island. He later sunk in the Kraken and we "recovered" his gems. This guy had like 20-30 gems. Made bank at gold rush.
