<![CDATA[Ship upgrades]]>

I am looking at purchasing some new items for my ship, just wondering if the new parts for the ship are purely cosmetic, or are they upgrades?
E.G. the anchor purchases are they just new styles, or do they make them raise faster etc?

@olstan-805 game is pure Sandbox - the tools you start with is the tools you will be using throughout the entire game. Titles and cosmetics are all just "bragging rights".
There are one or two sails that will help you a bit more than others (freedom sail with the holes in it and the dark adventurer sail with the chevron cut at the bottom) but, other than that the only advantage you can have over another player is knowledge and experience of how to best use the tools at your disposal.

They're just cosmetics. Nothing in sot improves your damage, healt, anchor time or cannon range.
