Reapers who want to terrorize the seas often use world events or other faction missions to get the five stripes they need to be able to get the bonus of being able to see other emissaries on the map

Not being able to start your own LFG post is not a valid reason to remove entire game mechanics, opportunities, lore, and cosmetics. Sorry.

I look at the LFG when I need a good laugh. Yes, some people are absolutely ridiculous on it. But I don’t think that’s a good reason to remove an entire faction from the game, with its unique risk/reward game style. Sure, it could be a bit more fair, but it still fits Rare’s vision of what they want from it. Now, back to laughing at requests for premium quests or final chapter Tall Tales.

Regardless of the crew's views on pvp and if they want it or not, they promote it when they raise the reaper flag. Marking themselves as a target encourages pvp even if they want to avoid it. A reaper 5 most of the time is easily a more profitable target than any pve. People like me will see them and instantly target them. If they complain that they didn't want to fight or they had no treasure, our response is always "You are a reaper emissary" and all reaper emissaries should expect to be targeted. Half the time we just like the battle and don't even care if they have loot. Seeing them on the map is an invitation to us for a fight. Some people may not use the reaper emissary as it was originally intended, but it still comes with its fair share of risk when used for pve. I welcome pve reapers because they at least make it easy for us to find them compared to other emissaries.

What are you talking about? Rare takes vital information from here and it has paved the way for a lot of things in the game.

For ideas that are good, you will see people agreeing and rare will take consideration about adding it. For ideas like this that only cause commotion, rare just completely ignores.

If you were to give feedback on how the faction could be changed to benefit to both the PvP and PvE community, people would give you sincere responses.

@aribalam you all realise that this site is just a venting platform for all your frustrations at the game right? Rare doesn't actually read or take any posts on here seriously so there for, do not need to be taken in the slightest amount of sincerity. If I actually wanted to make a clear and concise point about why the faction should be removed, beyond my own prejudices, I would write one up. But that would be a completely moroniic waste of time, because again, RARE doesn't care about this site.

So your reason for the removal of a main faction is because you don’t want others to be using that faction…

@wickedlystrange Wanda isn’t in control of the Reaper’s Bones. A lot of people use the faction for what it’s used for and the 3 original factions are just that. Original. That by itself doesn’t make them better than the other 3 Rare have added over time. Need it remind you that the game launched with 4 factions even.

Sounds to me like you just have a vendetta against the Reaper’s Bones and don’t understand the Risk/Reward part of the faction.

@ninja-naranja all tight, how about this. Rare should get rid if Reaper, since no one is using it for it's intended purpose as a player killing faction and is instead using it as a money grinder. Maybe instead of gaving a faction that gives out more gold than the true three is a terrible idea and needs to be removed. Or how about the fact that Wanda, who created the reapers to serve flameheart, had betrayed him and therefore the faction should fall.

So you want Rare to get rid of a entire faction just because of people doing LFG posts? That’s gotta be the dumbest reason I’ve heard for getting rid of that faction.
