is it just me or does the kraken not spawn anymore? is it because there's like a minute between event clouds now when there used to be atleast 2 hours

The kraken is basically useless as it is now. Drops one piece of meat, a one jankie loot item. Per tentacle. And if take a minute to defeat it like on a gally, your only ever gonna be able 2, maaaaybe 3 tentacles worth of loot. And with Meg and kraken meat at less then most cooked fish, why bother?

I don't even mind not seeing it. If they tweaked it and made it a bit more interesting it would be cool to fight it every now and then.

rng mixed with time spent sailing

someone like me is gonna see a lot of krakens as I play a lot and have a very sailing focused style so I'm usually in open water when an event ends and the kraken spawns
