Yes, usually whatever happens in Insiders, stays in Insiders – and it still does – but we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the kick-off of the next glorious set of Insider Rewards! As a reminder, with this being shared in the public part of the Forum, please do not discuss any Insider content here - we'll kick off a thread where you can discuss the new rewards with fellow Insiders in the Insider Hub part of the Forum.
The intrepid Insiders who’ve played for an incredible consecutive 102 weeks will have finally unlocked all of the distinctive Silver Blade set – the stunning white set exclusive to the Insider Programme. The Silver Blade set will of course remain earnable for those Insiders still making their way through various weeks of progress, but for those who are about to start week 103, something very special is on the horizon… Introducing: the Sapphire Blade set!
The most dedicated of our Insiders will begin unlocking the epic Sapphire Blade set from 18th February 2021, with the Sapphire Blade Blunderbuss being the first item available to receive. As it does now, the Insider Hub on the Sea of Thieves website will let you know what sort of rewards to expect in the weeks to follow – and in the usual rhythm of unlocks, the Sapphire Blade rewards will be punctuated with handy gold and Doubloon drops to satisfy your in-game spending needs.
And that’s not all; alongside the Sapphire Blade set, a very special certain kitty will be available in this next round of rewards. For those intrepid Insiders who helped us prepare for the arrival of cats to the Sea of Thieves, they’ll be reunited with their old friend: the original Insiders cat. The sweet grey kitty, only previously seen in Insider testing, will be an exclusive reward for the Insider Programme – allowing pirates to flex on their Insider status by equipping this precious pawed feline to their proper pirate.
We also want to take this moment to say a monumental thank you to our Insiders. Throughout the last 102 weeks you’ve tested everything we’ve released to retail over the last two years, spanning monthly content updates, Emissaries, Events, and most recently Seasons. Your feedback is so valuable to how we make and shape the game, and we’re delighted that you keep coming back to help support the development team and help make the Sea of Thieves the best it can be. You’re the best buccaneers, and we can’t wait to show you all the cool new stuff we’re working on behind the scenes – so thank you.
And to those of you relatively new to Sea of Thieves who might be thinking “hang on a second, what’s all this about?” – the Insider Programme is our dedicated programme that allows our players to play preview builds, see new content before the general public, and get behind-the-scenes updates from our developers on what we’re working on.

Thanks for making us aware that the Silver Blade Drum, Speaking Trumpet and Banjo are still pending. We'll continue as planned with the launch of the new Sapphire Blade set, and get those missing pieces folded into future weeks alongside these new rewards!
