Legendary sea dog

I do not think the wins should be lowered. LSD should be for players who have put in the time to earn it. I have played for awhile and have a total of 142 wins. I want the challenge and the grind. So stop crying a deal. Rather than making the game more casual friendly I’d like more commendations like the LSD total to work towards. It gives veteran/die hard players something to look forward to having that most others don’t. Don’t ruin it

Just because some number of players don’t spend as much time as others on the game doesn’t mean something meant to be a grind should change. While I have gotten the achievement and weapons I too at that point didn’t spend much time on the game and would only get around 10 arena games a week in, yet it made that achievement much more worth it and more valuable in my eyes. It may take longer to do but it is doable so why lower the required amount and make it less of a flex when it is something to be proud of?

Legendary sea dog is incredibly hard to achieve and also excessively time consuming. I don't have the time to grind for 240 wins and i know for a fact most other players don't either.

If you have no time or will to grind for them, you just won't get them simple as that. Why not keep something "exclusive" for those who have both and spend maybe 5-10 times more time in the game?

I know this issue has been addressed already but the feedback was from players who have done this achievement and don't want anyone else to get it.

What??? you can get it so like they did. You have to do exactly same task as they. They don't want you to get them because it "shows" their dedication to the game and why should others have easy pass on it? They are in no way preventing you from getting them the same way they did.

If you like get the legendary sea dog title stop playing adventure and play arena.I play 3h per week and i have 38 wins

@mr-rattles do me a favor and go to an Arena Galleon, and if the game starts in 10 minutes, contact me with proof,

@d3adst1ck I will not waste 3 months of my life on a video game gun skin. This is absolutely unfair to most players who have life's outside of a computer.

@limend They should unlock a separate cosmetic for reaching it before the change and the only good weapon set in the game (legendary set) should be easier to achieve for people who dont live their lives on video games.

@swiftthatch dude, just play the game and you'll eventually get it. It just takes time. Hardcore grinders might get it in a month or two and others might take half a year. Just because you personally cant or dont want to spend a lot of time to get the achievement doesnt mean that it is too much of a grind. Invest the time and earn the title or learn to live without it.

Its just a skin and a title, nothing will change when you get it. The only thing its good for is for bragging rights and if they lower the wins needed to obtain it then this will go away aswell.

This is not unfair. Every cosmetic tied to a commendation is a reward for those who put in the time and effort.

@swiftthatch its completely understandable that you need to do other things. No one says that you have to get it in one month. Just play, like I said, and eventually youll get it. Give me one good reason why you need it earlier? Not having it will have no impact in any way whatsoever.

If you do not have the time or dedication to get 240 wins then you have chosen to not be eligible for the rewards it's really that simple.

I have played since launch and do Not have this achievement either.
Yes the weapons look superb and I'd love to have them in my collection, yet I dislike Arena game play, thus have come to terms with not being eligible for the skins because I choose not too.
You want it bad enough go grab your 240 wins fellow Pirate.

As Arena players we’d LOVE for other players to get the commendation of Legendary Sea Dog. It means pirates would be actively playing Arena. 240 wins is tough, real tough. It does take a bit to get, but every person that has achieved it has done so with 240 wins, no matter how long it took them to achieve.

Exactly, you don't have to, the skin is for those that want to earn it. That's the point of commendations.

All ill say is don’t say you “don’t have the time”. If you want it, grind it to get it and it’ll actually be an achievement.

I would be ok if they lowered it to 100 or 150 wins IF they would give something exclusive for those who got it before change like full sets of Golden variant of Pl guns or victorious

Ofcourse they should get the best. they are the most dedicated and active players. That's why in every game you get best and cool stuff after countless hours of gameplay (like golden guns in Overwatch)

its not the only "good" cosmetic.

Swords = Forsaken, Ferryman, Silver Blade, Dark Adventurer, Silent Barnacle

Blunderbuss = Midnight, Silent Barnacle, Ferryman, Silver Blade

Pistol = Mercenary, Aristocrat, Ebon, Silver Blade

EoR = Silver Blade, Obsidian, Reapears Heart, Cronch?(banana), Silent Barancle, Wailing Barnacle

Thats just a quick list of weapons on par or better looking than the legendary imo.

I dont even use the legendary any more. And even when I did, the sword is only decent skin in the bunch.

But hey cosmetics are opinion based. They do not need to be easier to get.

Trust me its better to have a long term goal rather then have none when you achieve legendary sea fighter.
Mostly after that wins do not concern you and when all you have is kills achievements left, arena starts to lose its previous shine

Also when you get these weapons its more the satisfaction of having achieved them rather than what they look like, cause I only use the sword, pistol is impractical

As for calculations, it takes about 50 hours of pure wins to get there
