Shipwrecks at map borders

    I think it would be quite immersive to see the wreckage of ships near the maps border edges to give the impression of those who tried to enter (or leave) the sea of thieves and got claimed by the shroud.

    Perhaps it's something that could be added for next gen.

    Could be like a graveyard of ships in some areas, other areas not so many shipwrecks like maybe one or two.

    A few wrecks could even have the colours of the Grand Maritime Union to hint at the Lore beyond the shroud.

    It would be a nice touch for immersion I think.

    @daringclarky I was hoping when we were sailing through the shroud on the way to The Shores of Gold we would see sunken ships that we would have to navigate around...

    Love the idea of seeing shipwrecks out in the red sea!

    Yeah me too!

    Id love to sail through a ship graveyard. I imagine it would be like the equivalent of sailing through an asteroid field in a space ship.

    I love shipwrecks especially to check for my fishies

    I like the idea
    a graveyard of vessels that met an unfortunate demise would be fun to search

    Until support for the weakest platform ends, it doesn't matter how good the strongest platform is. It's something I've had to come to terms with. Rare is already hampered by the Xbox's poor performance. I'm certain the game could be pushed much further if it were only on PC and Series X|S, but Rare would likely lose a large part of their playerbase.

    They cant cater to the weakest hardware forever if they wish to grow the game.

    I think you are right.
    Support at some point needs to end though. Unless they just want to make a SOT 2 😁
