Look, can we just dissect these statements for what they are? Purely opinion. No where in any of this argument is proof. "Good players only play pvp." Is not evidence. Its you talking without any statistics. If good players only played arena pace22 wouldnt be in adventure mode killing alliance servers.

Go look at all the posts from many players complaining how they stop playing arena due to matchmaking times. Oh wait, they stopped, so instantly there skill is of the noob variety correct? Posturing sir.

Even at that, accumulation of wins is like everything else. It just takes time and some luck. Sure higher skill can reduce the time. However skilled and unskilled players make fatal mistakes.

@cpt-antitree that in itself isnt true. Top players complain constantly about the arena servers matchmaking times. Go read the forums. There is countless material here for you to make an actual argument. Not speculation.

P.s. im out. Point stands titles are not really flexing. Unless youre just trying to flex your game time.

My favourite flex at the moment would be the shipwrecked reaper. Idk, most if the good cosmetics are limited time. Most of the good players don't even rock good titles. It depends on what you are going for, if you're a tdmer, deffinitly rock something sweaty and unique, if you're an adventure pvper, maybe an arena title, it all depends on your plsystyle, deffinitly don't go around with the death defier title if you plan on doing pvp

I don’t care if you agree with my answer. I responded to the OP by stating the one that would certainly stop me in my tracks if I saw someone sporting it. I’m not telling anyone what title they need to display. I typically don’t have one at all or I run around with Gold Picaroon over my head.

Alliance server setup is pretty easy to detect with Microsoft servers having access to your XBL info and friends list, if Rare so wished to do so.

Teaming in arena especially TDM can easily be proven via recording and submitting. Two-Three boats don’t just sail off to a random fort or island, don’t cannon each other, and start fighting it out with weapons. the one cheese it for alliance, the other is hopping for active Event or PvP etc.
One is hardcore PvPing, the other just scuttles or plays the coward sailing into the shroud and refuse to fight completely.
And all say: dont tell others how to play the game, but get upset about how others play the game XD

Well i play the game like it was introduced and intended by Devs and Mr. Chapman for example, i have also cheesed it here and there to be able to play with more friends on 2 or 3 ships, becuase that was what they wanted and i was ok with it.
Personally i prefer an immersive funny roleplayish playstyle and not cheese anything.

People often want another game, they want this or that to be changed, tweaked to their favors, not playing the game like intended.
sure everybody can play the game like he want to, but all who tweak their experience to their favors are not branching out in to all aspects of the game in a balanced and the inteded way, but do what they want.
This cause problems for them and so they complain and ask to change the game.
Give us PvE Servers.
Make the Mermaid controllable.
Nerf this or that Weapon, buff this or that weapon.
Give us Land, give us TDM, give us BR, Give us survival elements, give us this and that...

See i am pretty fine with all we have, i would maybe even remove some things and have it more sandboxy, but i can play like i want to and need nothing to be changed, except to fix bugs and remove exploits and maybe reduce the bunnyhopping as it confuses hitreg even more and is not fun to fight this way.
I'm not competetive, i'm an old casual playing Dad, i like to PvP, i like to PvE, i like to watch the horizon, maneuver a ship, drink Grog, play music, dig treasures, riddle maps, serch for the X Mark and more.

what i dislike is gamers exagerating, cheesing a game, taunting, provoking, insulting, exploiting, takeing it all too serious and in no way care for the other players experience, when you own others.
I/ We for sure sunk 10 times more ship than we got sunk by others, i killed and plundered more booty than what was stolen from me, but i always cared about my fellow players and their experience and i wasn't too proud to sometimes save someone from sinking or even saved their loot and handed it back!

To me the pirate code is not a funny guideline, to me the pirate code is holy and a code of honor, i take it very serious and it sddens me that the majority does not.
I cant change people, i cannot and will not tell others how to play a game and not to game a system, but the more bad experiences i have with exagerating gamers, making fun on the cost of others, treating it all too serious and egotistical - and someone calling others bots and want to flex with a title in a game - what sounds ridiculous to a grown up man, who can maybe be his father, imho is part of this - i dont want to play the game, because the quality of the majority of the encoutners in SoT dropped regading fun and raised regarding toxicity!
And it's not PvP or losing - it's the way how people PvP and how someone loses a fight.
I have almost everything in the game and i really need nothing, all i want is having fun and i apreciate a good fight with everybody envolved playing, not performing and exagerating about pixels.
I see some need to compensate and all gaming is a serious business to them.
Well thats the fellow players you like so much playing ludo, when they flip the board because of losing :D
As long as they dominate others they're fine, but when it comes down to laughing together when they lose, there is where most gamers completely fail.
It's because they're not playing - they're performing and taking it too serious!

[mod edit] sorry, but game developers shouldnt make a free roam game and expect people to just follow some stupid rules, look at gta 5, free roam, even on console its kill or be killed. no one cares. but as this game, people start getting good rare go oh [mod edit] just because i somehow got 6k hours over and i manage to dumpster every half decent player i come across, dosnt mean i should be punished for it. if i see a new player on this game, and i dont see any benifit of killing him, even hitting s.keet shots (hitting a blunder and swapping to the sniper and finishing them off mid air) counts, i wouldnt even go there, no point. sink and move on, but if i see a toxic casual i'd go as far as going for some nasty clips, if i see a player who has some idea what he is doing i'd go all out and do the same. i go by my own code, respect new players to a certain extent. if they are in a server for over 20 mins doing nothing, sink them and move on, if they are getting loot, i'd do the usual and camp them. if they are toxic, camp them. but if they are good players, i'd fight. i spend most of my time tdming anyway, and about that, most tdmers dont cheese wins, they dont care about wins and are only playing for fun. most good tdmers grinded lsd early on so commendations dont mean much to them, yea you would get a few times where they would take the win from some people trying to interrupt the tdm, just dont shoot empty boats its pretty obvious what is going on. 3 or 4 boats parked up? they must just be digging some invisible chests and shooting some invisible cannons amirite?

first off, middle is good, zandot is also good, but tart tee is average. how about some of the actual top players, as i believe middle and zandot dont play anymore and arnt used to the meta, its all the unknown players who are the best, do some research pls
