So as it stands, whenever I sell a treasure chest filled with trinkets to the Gold Hoarders, I don't feel like I made that much Gold, despite making about as much as a Captains or Marauders Chest. I believe this is because instead of selling one big item for a large amount of gold you sell a bunch of items separately that on there own aren't very profitable. I think an easy fix to this would be the ability to sell the chest and everything inside of it at once if everything inside can be sold to whatever trading company you're selling it to. This could be hard to program, however when you put a treasure chest filled with loot on your ship while flying an emissary, it automatically adds up all the flag rep to your emissary, so there's already slight basic coding in place. All in all, I just think it would be more satisfying if I could sell a treasure chest filled with trinkets at once and see the large cash sum, instead if one at a time and having to try and add it all up.
A Small pet peeve that would make selling treasure chests more satisfying
@shadowapp0llo what about the fact this makes it easier for one enemy crew member able to hop off with a chest full of stronghold skulls and cash them out before you can catch them by cannoning over yourself?
Personally I think the time it takes to sell currently is very well balanced.
A chest with 3 ruby gems during any level 5 emmisary run is worth a lot!
Ruby gem = 2,000g ×3
Treasure chest = ~400g
Emmisary bonus = n ×2.5So you're looking at 16,000g in 1 fell swoop.
The idea that smaller items are not as valuable is somewhat erroneous. They have a wide range just like many other categories of loot.
In which order should they be turned in case you're running an emissary and are not yet grade 5 ? From left-to-right, highest-to-lowest or the other way around, optimal so your crew gets to grade 5 and gains the most profit ? Or all just on grade 4 and treat it as 1 item ?
What if you're not organised and have a skull in there ? What if it actually contains items you'd rather would have turned in somewhere else ?
