    If you have a pet, wouldn't it be nice to use it for something? What if you're on an island and you find a goblet, or a mermaid gem but don't want to take it back to the ship? Give it to your pet! They can carry it back to the ship while you keep looking for more treasure.

    Just an idea.

    Decent idea but that perk is behind a paywall and can be seen as a good pay to win

    @rob-deaderick if there was a starter pet then sure but as of right now pets are behind a paywall and it would be pay 2 win

    i'd support the idea of having them dig but it doesn't do anything just for the aesthetic
