Raising sails to stop is a more advanced technique than simply dropping anchor. I think it's something that needs to be learned in game rather than explained in the tutorial. If you're in a crew with a less experienced sailor, consider it a teaching opportunity. :)

Yes you drift a good deal but you can stop exactly where you want if you do it right.

Have you played the game? Ra8se the sails as early as you like, that boat will never stop lol.

@xcaptrenegadex I wish you to find many good folks and having to play open crew.

@xcaptrenegadex I can see why it's annoying to have new players drop the anchor too often, but raising the sails to stop a ship right where you want it to requires a lot of practice and trial and error. It might be a little much to have that in the tutorial for players that are still trying to understand the bare basic mechanics of the game.

Just some food for thought. It's not a bad suggestion.
