@weisshorn2582 if joining random crews feels too stresfull try xbox LFG groups and/or use discord to find people, these are usually at least a bit more easy going there is a official SoT discord with thousands and thousands of members

The biggest lesson i give to new(er) players is this, you will get sunk, probably a few times as @Captain-Coel i have thousands and thousands of hours in this game and still sink every now and then.

There is always more gold/doubloons/loot in the game and especially the flames of faith can be a little more challenging since you have to die and thus leave your ship unguarded, with experience you will learn how to get these with the least amount of risk.

However since dailies swap out every day i dont think you should get this hung up about it, back in the day doubloons where sometimes even tougher to come by, nowadays there is a lot of easier ways to get a mere 30 doubloons, look at your bilge rat commendations ;-) most of them dish out quite a few.

Dailies come and go i have completed only a few because i genuinly couldn’t care less about them because of the in game financial situation i find myself in.

They are very specific tho. Use default emotes and if it involves a lantern get a colour first.

I finished today's (turn in an indigo splashtail) in about 15-20 minutes.

The only truth is that instead of giving some advises or showing little empathy/support or just walking by you are posting that this game is not for me and all that sarcastic "seas have too much salt already". It's funny that you then blame some 8 year old kiddos because you don't demonstrate any adult behavior, just some bully and blaming mindset.

It aint currently with this noob friendly state its in. All the pve content is veing reduced to status JOKE cus all the 8 year old kids are asking for nerfs cus they dont want to learn and adapt.

@capt-kanna if you can't comply with the pirate code article 6 I doubt this game and this forum is for you. Please don't be toxic and think about the fact that your experience may be dramatically different than the experience of another person. Some empathy is good. Bullying isn't.

All the dailys have been super simple and way too easy to do. (Drink a grog, get 1 fish, etc)
This is the first one which takes slightly more effort to complete.
It would be really boring if all the dailys are easy and simple to do.

@weisshorn2582 if you cant even do simple daily missions without crying this game is not for you. The seas have too much salt already.

Try not to stress about it too much. This game has a pretty steep learning curve, especially if you are playing solo. Many of the dailys are noob friendly, so if one seems out of reach, a new one will be live tomorrow. Keep at it and you will have more gold and dabloons than you can spend.

True that. My friends don't play SoT and joining random crew seems a bit stressful just yet (bought the game less than 2 weeks ago). I will definitely try, thanks.

That's a lot. And thanks for helping new players. But as you can see even in this topic, a lot of people in the community are toxic, violating article 6 of the pirate code and clearly wanting others to feel bad/miserable just because.

That's not this game buddy. Sea of Thieves has its challenges. There are tools to finding crews for people who dont have friends to play with.

I know that it has challenges and I've went through some of them already. I'm just trying to point out that SoT doesn't have to be complicated in every type of activity to be still a great game. Don't you agree that accumulating 0/6 would be fun but also not so punishing for solo players/average players/complete newbies? I bet you have been playing SoT for a long time and I'm not sure if you really understand the experience of newcomers and all the pain where it's absolutely unnecessary.
