Cursor Desync
-
This has been an issue for a while for me but I thought it was just another sea of thieves bug that just went under the radar, but after talking to some other pc pirates it seems that it's not just something everyone has to deal with. The issue is overtime my cursor will stray from being locked in the middle of the screen. Sometimes heading up to the top bringing down the game title bar, other times down to the bottom bringing up the taskbar, or even worse having me hover over the x button as I'm swinging my cutlass, causing me to close the game. I typically got around this by pressing and holding q or e every so often which put the cursor in the middle of the screen, but is there a way to fix this? I have tried the fix on the SOT support forums (https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360000425788?input_string=mouse+desync) not only trying the recommended setting, but also all of the other options, and looked around for other fixes as well but I still seem to have the same issue.
Someone at some point gave me a "fix" ment for use in the command line (reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /t REG_DWORD /v EnableLUA /d 0x1 to be exact) the console only returns "Value EnableLUA already exists. Override?(y/n)"
