I currently use the right stick as you push it in.

You can literally use key binds in the settings. I use right on the d pad to cycle through my food

Using default controls, left and right on the d-pad and the right joystick button are the only buttons not assigned to anything. So, if you stick with the default controls, that means that you can hotkey up to 3 things on console. Personally, I use:

D-pad left = cannonballs
D-pad right = wooden planks
Right joystick button = food

...but you can use whatever you prefer.

Besides that putting a cicle on LB would negate quick acces on last item. As controller player is allready limited in its quick selection i would not want LB to be used diffrently.

Use a hotkey as @Galactic-Geek suggested and all your food problems are fixxed.

My feedback? Not being mean when I say this, but your method is simply unnecessary. Even if it was implemented, you'd have to hold the LB while using your middle finger to press LT - some might find that a bit odd or uncomfortable, because most pirates like to use their index fingers for pulling triggers.

Will you give me feedback on my other idea post as well 😊 please you obviously know the game better than I do, so I would love to hear your opinion on each. Thank you so much for your help

@knuckles6969 Just hotkey food in the control options menu. Press that button repeatedly to cycle through - I use the right joystick button for quick, easy access. No wheel required.

@knuckles6969 if you think it's a good idea and would like to help me make the game better for us all please vote at the top right of my post that you like and make a already great game even better for us all. We all know it is a pain to eat a piece of raw meat in a sword fight because it is the last thing you picked up so it is above that sweet pineapple we thought we were taking a bite of lol
