What is a "Gilded Voyage"?
Voyages thet were given to us while specific events.
You got plenty of booty but if you messed it up, no matther how the voyage is gone.
Some lost it to disconnects, others to other Pirates, others got Kraken and sunk, whatever it was, you could only buy it once and do it once.iirc there were Gilded Athena voyage that give 3 Athena chests and stuff like that.
If you had one for double XP and Gold days or Weekends then that was the day you wanted to do them :)Gilded voyages are special voyages that are offered in game on a very rare occasion. They provide players with a single shot at making an obscene amount of reputation and gold. This one in particular is special as there is a single NPC that is willing to accept the voyage loot for double the gold (albeit at the cost of not earning reputation). You will only get a single shot at the voyage though, so when you buy one of the 4 options (3 if you are not a pirate legend) you will be locked into that voyage, and you will not be able to get another one. This adds in risk as if some misfortune befalls you (krakens, pirates, etc.) you will lose whatever you had gained up to that point (the entire thing if you were about to turn in after finishing) without any way to get it back.
