    I have a Windows 8 laptop which I play Sins of a Solar Empire on and I want to move it to my second monitor which is connected via a VGA cable. How would I do that? Windows + shift + ← or → does move

    yes, you can start it window mode, move it to screen 2, and close it. Whenever it starts now, it starts on screen 2. You can maximize it and it is still screen 2. But if you close it in screen mode, it will restart on screen 1. I hoped there could be an option for having it a permanent way. I will have an eye for something similar to devilspie2 for windows. Thank you for answering, mates.

    PS: I will give "Actual Window Manager" a try.
