Weapon Damage (finished analysis: 16th of Novermber 2018)

  • Just finished my tests on the damage of all weapons.
    Cutlass normal swing: 20%
    Cutlass charged: 50%
    Pistol: 50%
    Eye of Reach: 80%
    Blunderbuss: 10% per pellet / 10 pellets per shot
    The datas above are only valid in case there is no random variance in the damage output.
    There have been rumours that a pellet of the Blunderbuss does 15% damage. I am happy to be able to deny that rumor once and for all time with the datas from my tests.

    How I collected my datas about the Blunderbuss: I stood in front of a wall and got shot by another player with the Blunderbuss. Then I counted the pellets that hit the wall besides me. 10 pellets from the Blunderbussshot minus the hits on the wall besides me = pellets that hit me. In the cases where exactly 4 pellets hit me I had exactly 60% health left.

  • @nairamus I wonder if they should make the eye of reach 75% so it least then it counters the one shot swing tactic, but can still keep its power.
