  • woah okay...

  • yeah i no bit of a rant but its the truth

  • I'm quite happy with it :) I'm still spending upwards of 6 hours on this game every day i have free, making new friends and plundering loot is something I find rare has done an amazing job at implementing in their game, if you can't play without getting bored then just don't play, if you're sad that you spent your money then sook more l**o, I'd pay the same twice over for the same experience.

  • Settle down. The devs explained exactly what was going to be in the launch of the game. If you purchased it, you should have known exactly what you were getting into.

  • Watched one review and reviewer ranked zelda top 1 game of 2017. Well stopped watching reviews after that :D

  • @dropkickilla sloops were a huge mistake. I feel bad for everyone who didn’t experience the days before sloops. Every encounter and battle was truly epic.

  • @sunk-your-ship bro your missing the point i get what your saying but me and a lot of other people were hiped as for this game and now its just a disappointment i agree that this game has moments of beauty but there let down by EVERYTHING ELSE if your having fun thats great im glad someone is but ur a rare breed bro

  • @dropkickilla first off, caps lock is not cruise control. Second off, caps lock makes you look like a child. No one said you have to wait a year for it to be fun. It is not a cash grab from Microsoft. If you don't like the game and don't want to give it a chance to grow, just get your refund and leave. I'm having fun with the game already, and so are thousands of others, and I'm getting sick and tired of posts complaining about the game's lack of content without any suggestions on what to add. I don't care what all the reviews say. I don't let other people tell me whether I'm going to enjoy a game or not. Also, you're telling people to look at the bigger picture? Yeah the bigger picture is that the game is going to improve over time. What you're doing is looking at the here and now.

  • @capt-gnashmaw AGEN your missing the point its a full priced game that is empty u see were im coming from

  • @salem-vice its in caps for a reason there just bigger letters get over it

  • Actually, it has been said...repeatedly, and in a much more easy to read format. We all want more, however, some of us are willing and maybe even happy to contribute to what exactly is added to the game. I mean, we don't have final say on what happens with the game, but as long as devs continue to listen to its playerbase, stay transparent about its roadmap, and support the game past 1 year, I'm happy.

I don't think anyone would have been angry about the game having more content at launch, but all this QQ is going to force the devs to start throwing cheap filler content at us to wipe the tears from all the crybabies. I'd much rather have meaningful content and wait a month or two than have more fetch/return quests added in. Just my two cents...

  • @dropkickilla Chill man, the game isn't for everyone. I love it and play every night with a crew and sometimes even solo. You're missing the point of the game I think just like you are missing the point of caps lock

  • @dropkickilla Alright a bit more civil response. This, I can work with. Yes, I see your point. Everyone sees your point about the game lacking content, and we're all disappointed about that, but most of us aren't letting that ruin the fun we're having with what's there. Yes it's currently overpriced for what's in the game. I'm not going to argue that. But claiming it's nothing but a cash grab is basically throwing all of the hard work Rare put in developing this game into a trash bin and lighting it on fire. Plenty of new content will come with time.

  • Now I want a downvote function.

  • @dropkickilla said in OK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH:

@o-luna-lux-o well said and get you totally but i still don't understand why they unnecessarily hiped the game for a stale empty sandbox

  • @DropKicKilla I understand you want more from the game, but you cannot whinge when you have paid for exactly what was given. Rare have said multiple times that the game will continually be updated regardless. Pleas stop flooding the forums with bland and pointless posts, there is no result that would end positively in any way from this crude mess of a forum entry

  • Sorry, but you kinda lost me at CAPS LOCK.

  • @spent-d sloops are my, and I'm sure many others people's, favorite part of the game.

  • for me it is a little disappointing and it feel a little bit how I felt at the launch of Destiny 1 but unlike destiny all future content expansions are free and only vanity dlc will be paid theres more here than base game destiny 1 and that was 60$ plus 10$ if you wanted a beta key which guess what was roughly 30% of the base game. So am I disappointed yes a little bit but ive spent more on much less and am willing to wait it out till more content arrives making friends building reputation and sailing the seas and doing so in small sessions 2 or so hours a day so that I don't get bored and play other things to keep my self occupied.

  • @salem-vice this is 100% true. In the past year of playing, the biggest game changer were ladders on docks to me. Take my $60 after that, I’ll be a baby bird waiting to get fed by Rare. Play with friends people, or you’re missing the biggest part of the game. Angry Joe was talking smack at rank five. He hates the game because he’s trash at it, and is an angry cynical person anyways. Did you see him spawn camp that dude?

  • @dropkickilla Have you ever seen a dev, publisher, company, anyone who's selling anything...not hype their product? As for it being a "stale empty sandbox", I respectfully disagree. I mean my god Gary's Mod has been going for years, and I've no idea behind the draw on that game but people love it and its the sandiest box I can think of. I'm sorry you didn't find more to do in game, and as someone else mentioned, maybe a refund would server you better. For myself though, I'm happy with my purchase and went into it fully aware of what was to be in the game at launch. I would have loved more content at launch, but what's there is enough to keep me happy until there is. Happy Pirating!

  • whats with people and caps like cmon its pretty immature to disregard an entire post just because of bigger letters read whats said and say ur through i don't care but when people start b******g about letters u can tell they got nothing else to say but unnecessary c**p

  • @spent-d I swear if I see one more review saying Lack of content, No mans sea, or something similar I am going to lose my mind. I haven't had this much fun in a game in so long and the friends I have made in this game make it even better.

  • @spent-d I will admit the game should have a tutorial of some sort to inform of mechanics to prevent that like the scuttle ship option or tips on how to improve ingame since I often run into new players that are unaware of how to navigate the menus or even vote for their own voyages.

  • @dantheman929 yeah plus i got miss interpreted i bought the game at launch and yeah i had fun but the fun dies quick real quick and gets repetitive fast

  • @dropkickilla one of the ways ive kept my fun alive is by mixing up how I play sometimes solo sometimes with a buddy some times with a buddy and randos or just join a random galleon or join a random sloop. I often get a lot of enjoyment out of helping out the lower level crews or players I'm over 20 in all trading companies and it feels nice to share the higher level of play with the quest variety. I started to find new enjoyment around lvl 15 since this was the point where quests actually started to take effort and felt more varied.

  • @dantheman929 definitely. Rare should have put legit tutorials on their YouTube page or something. Here’s what I’m saying though, when you hop in a crew and you have a mic, majority of people will help you. I’ve been playing for a year. I’ve run into TWO outpost campers. All the negative stuff about this game is a vocal minority. I’ll play in random crews a lot to help out new people, and I know others do the same. People that get rekt on sloops and complain amaze me.

  • @salem-vice yeah true he's a cranky fella but still thats beside the point the intention that i thought for this game was trying to achieve was for everybody no matter what play style no matter what skill level you have with the game was to have a fun experience with it they said it at E3 and there still saying now but thats just not the case

  • @dropkickilla It literally hurts my eyes to even try and read it. I'd say it's immature to make a post in all caps.

  • @dropkickilla that actually still remains true and is why I stand behind the decision to not include vertical progression. Any player at any skill level has the ability to play and experience the world same as anyone else. What I would like to see more of is more horizontal progression like maybe a player bounty systems for players who have gone a long time without a pvp encounter or a guild system where there can be competitive faction wars over loot acquired.

  • @dantheman929 yeah well said bro

  • Couldn't you just post the same c**p in 1 of the hundreds of similar posts already out there? Do we have to recycle the same thing day after day?

  • @zep-darkwater dude if ur eyes hurt reading bigger letters then u should probably get them checked out and agen its in caps for a reason yeah it was probably unnecessary yeah, but i still did it can you change it, no so unless u got something smart to say don't say nothin at all.
