No Open Beta. I'd rather Rare spend all their focus on ensuring a smooth launch in March.

@barnabas-seadog i mean i can tell the game is already really smooth and all , but there's still people that'd like to try it out before it launch and before they spend 59.99$ on a game and some people are dying to play wich you can tell by the comments haha , i mean we all would be more then happy for an open beta for 1-2 days , but we'll see what happens! :) , i know i'll buy the game either way and i wont be sad if there's no open beta since the realese is almost here! :)
As much as I want to play.... I say no. The open beta was a privilege not a right. We are not that far from release, let the developers work on the game without having to worry about running another beta.
Trust me, I can't flipping wait to play again... I've practically been twiddling my thumbs all day because I'm bored, but we should wait like they already planned. We were informed of the closed beta dates and how to get into it. If someone missed that, I'm sorry but March 20th isn't too far away. Watch some gameplay videos on youtube of the game or browse the forums like me :)
@olric-forstner yea i totally understand! , we all here would love to play! , the game is already amazing and ofc there's more to add! :) , trust me i've been watching every youtube video pretty much hehe .. , but i see what your coming from! , but if they've got time for an open beta then yea sure we would all be more then happy! , ofc they gotta make sure the game is as smooth as it can before they launch it but if they got time for opening a 1-2 day open beta for maxing the servers out and letting the people try it out that would be great!

I have a few friends who'd love to play the game, after seeing my gameplay and screenshots from the closed beta!@guardian-todza oh yea that's a very good point! :) , they gotta promote it by letting big youtubers play it so it builds some sort of hype before it's launching etc! :) ,
@yellowyscroll10 I have friends that missed out on this game because they couldn't get into the beta. A free open beta would allow me to share it with them.
@the-contact Yea i've heard there's some people that got in to the 'closed beta'' but played alone since their friends didn't get in so they didnt get the chance of playing the game to the fullest! , hope you'll get a chance of sharing it with your friends! :)
I'm on the fence. Yes I'd love more time with the game and to get more people in to iron out the bugs and gameplay issues that need tweaking.
I'd also just want them to focus on getting the game out so we can play it at launch.
But either way. I'll live!
(But I'd love more time with the game honestly. it was so much fun!)

I would rather have the developers work on the game since we are so close to launch but they could just release the closed beta again or make the closed beta an open beta with no updates for people to try it out who missed the closed beta but again I would like the developers to work on the game since I was playing and I found an island with a missing texture and I fell in and I couldn't play anymore.

@vitaefinis I agree with this so much. But we are going to have people to just cry about the bugs and forget it's not fully done. I'd love to get to try it out for even a day on a good ole Saturday with the boys. It looked fantastic on YouTube and I'm excited for the release. Pirate HYPEEEE
@yellowyscroll10 its good to be the one who watched e3 2017 and saw Sea of Thieves instead the one who saw it on summitg1 twitch and now want something from the devs without a reason.
Look - Technical alpha, closed beta, open beta are for DEVS. No for people. Yeah we had a good time on sea of thieves but every bug we meet, every glitch we meet we gone to the support forum and tell devs about it to make it game better at launch. Also you have a many hours of gameplay on youtube and twitch where devs can see whats wrong is happening with their game.
Open beta is always a mass testing, server capacity, some advertising.
Now after closed beta being most watched game on twitch through its lifetime i don't think they need more advertising, maybe they will run Open Beta to check how servers are going but thats only speculation.For the sake of launch they should do an open beta to stress test the servers again. Every single time Rare let more people in, they had massive server issues. 300k in closed beta is nothing compared to the launch. They need to sort it out....and of course...get people excited to buy the game with a bit more things to do ;)
I agree with this there should be either another closed beta or even an open beta to be released in the next few weeks to let people trial that game who did not have the chance to do so with the most recent closed beta. Which im quite sure was for people who pre ordered (I may be wrong. Not quite sure)
@face-0-o how much is the game currently I keep seeing/hearin 60dollars but I pre ordered the game for 100 dollars on Xbox 1. Did I get ripped or did the price change.
