Stunning Update

  • The "A Pirate's Life" update is one of the most amazing experiences I've had in any game for a very long time. I think what the team has achieved is a huge thing, it really feels like you're in a film when you play the new Tall Tales. The environment design and whole feel of the game is perfect, and the meticulous attention to detail adds a layer of realism to the refreshingly fictional world.

Honestly, if all the Tall Tales were like these new ones then I would be doing them so much more. I can't wait to see what else they're going to release in future, and hope that upcoming updates can come near the quality of this one.

  • I’d agree. Experienced some bugs in the second tale, but other than that was a great story.

Really enjoyed the conclusion. Overall we got some new mechanics, lore, and enemies - great update Rare, thank you!

  • Yeah man. I did A Pirate's Life Tall Tale back to back three times in a day, and it wasn't to see Sparrow (he's so full of cliches lol), but more to hang out with the cursed pirate captain head guy. He's breathing with life and I just had to get every inch of dialogue from him today. (ok the real reason why I came back was for the commendations but even so the cursed captain made the trips a delight)

  • It's good stuff.

Took me what felt like 10 years to figure out all the commendations by myself without looking anything up which as always makes the experience more valuable to me

Figuring out all the ins and outs of these types of gaming mysteries as an adult is like trying to catch a lizard in your 30s, you remember you used to do it pretty darn well but now it ain't pretty to watch
