Because a "good one" is subjective, and a "good one" when it comes to RNG still usually ends with compromising on a few things because one was as close to "good" as you could get

The number of people who completed past content should illustrate how ineffective camping key locations is at stopping players from progressing. The press reported that Tall Tale puzzles and voyage locations are procedurally generated (Article 1, Article 2), so it seems a crew would also rely on some luck to camp the right places. During the Hungering Deep and Cursed Sails events, a few players camped out at key places (e.g., Merrick's journals, Salty, Wanda's Lab) but anyone committed to the journeys found a way to make it through, and those locations were the same for everyone.

For me, Kraken animations aren't working at all, which completely breaks the fight.

Please follow the below:

How to create a Restore point:
-Press the Windows Key
-Type in Create a restore point and press Enter
-Select Create
-Give the Restore point an appropriate name and select Create

Script:
I have attached the script, you will need to extract / unzip the folder to gain access to it. You will be prompted for password when complete, the password is 'Rare' (no quotes)

At this point you can either keep the folder as it is, or copy both of the files within it to a new folder of your choosing.

From here right click the file called: DeleteOldInstalls.BAT and select Run as Administrator.

Select Yes to grant the file access to change permissions on your machine.

Read the disclaimer, as previously stated we cannot take ownership for any problems encountered.

Should you be happy with this type in the bolded text and press Enter: I AGREE

Type in the letter in which drive the game is installed on. It should be C if you have followed my previous set of troubleshooting. It is important the letter is in caps

Once complete please try reinstall the game as normal and post back your results.

The most poignant part, to me, was "We have to pay respect to the times that are about to ends in the sea of thieves."

It reminds me of all the years when gamers were talkin' about how classic World of Warcraft was infinitely better than current WoW. It wasn't quantifiable, but everyone just sort of agreed that the oldest, most broken version of a game, was somehow also the best.
With Classic WoW on the horizon, I guess we'll soon know.

Makes me wonder how year 1 will be viewed in the years to come. Some of my fondest, most amazing memories of gaming arose in Sea of Thieves' first year, and right now I cannot imagine the Mega Update surpassing that. I can't imagine it thrilling me like it had before.
But, is that because the game has changed, or because I have?

Time will tell, but going into year two, all I can promise is to stand by my crew, and respect the seas.

There is an entry that reads:

Ship attacking us! The Burning Blade. We are fleeing East. They are turning to pursue.

Earlier in the video you see a journal with a drawing of The Burning Blade with her “infernal cannons” and showing Flameheart’s symbol on the sail.

This creates a timeline issue. You see, Flameheart did not exist during Ramsey Singh’s lifetime. If you’ve read the novel, then you know that the Pirate Lord died before the presence of the Ferry of the Damned in the Sea If Thieves. And, according to the Tales from the Sea of Thieves, the pirate who would later become Flameheart describes the Ferry of the Damned in his writings. So, the Ferry was there when this pirate transformed into Flameheart. The Magpie’s Wing couldn’t have had a run in with The Burning Blade...

... unless Ant-man came back and used the Quantum Realm to help Flameheart get back to the time of the Pirate Lord #TimeTravelConfirmed.

When he did I swam over to the galleon to attempt sinking them and after a long drawn out battle we did just that. After they sunk we got to weakening the skelly captain ship and as the first deck was full, the original players galleon approached.

Once again we asked for an alliance and the one guy said NO repeatedly so we fought once more. Had to back off because we were low on supplies but once they sunk the skelly ship we went in to hit them one last time....

They drifted off quite a ways from where the treasure surfaced and we tried to pick up the leftover junk that came up. Once we looked back to check on the Galleon... Boom - Kracken.

What a sight after all that hard work and they just got swallowed up by the kracken LOL. Maybe they would have made it if they stayed on their ship to defend it but Nooooo instead they got greedy and tried boarding us all to get killed.

Watching that gally go down for the 2nd time was a marvelous sight, the sunset made it even more beautiful lol. Considering we needed the kracken commendations maybe we would have helped you but you guys said no Alliance so we sat there and enjoyed it.

We wound up taking the entire haul from them, 8 skelly items plus the extra junk.

I always felt like this game, rewards the ships that don't engage in pvp right away. I know its kind of a silly thought though right, but there's other stories out there I'm sure.

To those on that galleon, we hope to see you out there again. We noticed you must have.. (dare i say it) Rage quit... and never came back at us after that... Maybe you'll rethink alliances next time :D
