Firstly the game is all about communication, I've seen many xbox players who actually don't even use their microphone. If you don't communicate as a crew you've lost from the get go.

Now back to the M&KB vs controller, it depends on preference, completely. But I do see the issue, having more manoeuvrability (As in you can jump around them before they can even turn towards you)

But I have seen xbox players who've actually dominated PC players, its just experience with the controls which have been presented.

I recall when GTA V landed on PC, the PC crowd were fuming, spittle dripping from their lips 'controllers with auto-aim is practically AIMBOTS!!!! BAN CONTROLLERS!!!!!!!'

You know what is worse than Controller vs M/KB?

High ping vs low ping. The whole xbox vs PC, or controller vs M/KB point is 100% moot because when I have 500ms ping and my enemy has 35ms ping, it won't matter how accurate I am...I am going to die 9 times out of 10 in combat.

I'm more concerned about ping than controller input.

Ultimately, IMHO, I like playing games and chose a better rig to play them on (PC). It's not up to me if I end up playing with console players, and if the difference is that drastic then maybe we should be separated, but at the end of the day, don't bring a knife to a gun fight. If your console controller can't keep up with a proper gaming rig with K&M then change system.

I've never played on an Xbox or used a controller, they make my hands get cramp and find the K&M much more comfortable. There was a time not too many years ago where the Xbox had the advantage over PC's, processing power and the built in auto-aim I hear so much about, but that has changed now, swings and roundabouts.

It would make no difference to me if I was playing in a mixed server or just with other PC players, but one thing I know for sure would be that the players who achieve Legionary stats on the PC servers, all you Xbox'ers would still claim we had cheated in some way.

Everything is a balance, but like with everything in life, you should use the best tool for the job.

BTW. I use a PC and lose most fights so it doesn't give me any advantage, I suspect it's more to do with your own game play and reactions.
And as for everyone thinking PC players are all cheating, what a crock of s**t. Whilst I'm not naive to think it doesn't happen, I believe it isn't anywhere as common as people here make out.

I play on Xbox and I have no problem with taking ships down, even knowing they are on pc. My friends also play on pc and it's awesome to play be able to play with them now. This is all about skills and not your gaming device.

Hiding what mate? I'm not hiding anything, I close all other apps running, launch the game and play. I do know that every time I try to aim, my mouse speed gets a huge nerf and slows right down, does that happen with your xbox controller?

The crossplay was a massive thing for Microsoft and rare, arguably gaming as a whole. I don't see it changing...

So what? Does that change how controllers work? M/KB is better for FPS games. There is no argument or discussion to be had on the issue. It's just a fact. Serena Williams can beat you in Tennis with a broken racket. Does that mean that mean a broken racket is just as good as a fully functional racket? No. Should Serena Williams be forced to play in pro tournaments with a broken racket just because she can beat a lot of people that way? No. Your argument fails.

im wanna only option in game to my decision when im wanna play with pc check this options, but when im wanna play with only my platform chceck this. this is too mach for xbox players? and why any one from administration dont wanna speek?

@pocket-fox-au that is still a problem in gta and they glitch into standard lobbies with their autoaim c**p, if you need an assist to use the pad maybe, just maybe its the wrong tool for the job... Really does make finding targets to easy.

Forget the game, I suggest many of the people on this forum should concentrate on their homework to improve their spelling and grammar. Much of this text is just gibberish. Is it just me or does anyone else see the relationship between the Xbox users and poor spelling? Maybe having a keyboard will help you guys in more than just this game... just say'in.

Any Xbox user like to comment? Does your control speed change when you mount a canon or look through your spyglass?
