Sea of thieves decided I needed this random account instead of my normal one...

  • So the seaofthieves.com website just decided to automatically log me in with this random account and I cannot log in with my main one. I just log out and when I press login I do not get the choice to log in with another account it just automatically logs me in with this one.... What gives?

  • @wobblyspy176873 You sir have been Ghosted.

Ferry of the Damned for you.

  • clear your browser cache and cookies and try again.

  • clear you're browser's login data and reopen it

  • @wobblyspy176873
Clear your browser history, cookies, site data etc. This should work but you'll be logged out of every website on you're browser.

  • Hey its me wobblyspy. Problem solved thanks for the answers.

  • Hey, I'm having this same problem but clearing cookies and cache didn't work for me. I cleared them both, then closed my browser and restarted my comp. Came back to the website and I had been logged out, which is what I wanted. Then I went to sign in with my Microsoft account and I'm back to this random username again. This is not my account!

  • Quit yo profile then open Chrome incognito mode (ctrl+sht+N). You are welcome.

  • Same problem here...

  • @lockborn Thank you for the response but I don't know what "quit yo profile" means.

  • Okay, I tried logging out and then logging back in using Chrome incognito mode but that didn't work. Then I tried right-clicking on my profile and selecting "Open link in incognito window" but that didn't work either. "Quit yo profile" must mean something else that I'm not thinking of lol.

  • @bondablesoup387 it means log out from the site. sry my english sometimes just hilarious xD

  • @lockborn No worries! That didn't work for me though. Any forums devs want to help me out here? It seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

  • @BondableSoup387 try making sure you are logged out of all Microsoft sites on all devices (here, Xbox.com, Microsoft.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com etc) clear cookies and cache for good measure then try logging back into here with the correct account

  • @triheadedmonkey That didn't work either but thanks for the suggestion.
