Un-nerf Hunter's call prices as Hunter's call emissary

  • In recent update Hunter's call prices were severely nerfed to be the same as the sovereign prices. Now if you are sailing for Hunter's call emissary the price of items are lower than if you are sailing for a different faction. For example an Orb of secrets sells for less than its normal price (less than 20 k). It discourages you from playing Hunter's call even though the recent update specifically added more Hunter's call content.

  • This is a common misconception and I don't know where the original knowledge was lost.

Sovereigns pays 100% value of all loot - including Hunter's Call. Always have. Seaposts were paying a 50% bonus for sales to them, to encourage sales to them to continue after Sovereigns were introduced. With the season update, that boost transferred over to Hunter's Call at outposts which was not intended. Seaposts and Hunters Call outposts representatives now pay the correct amount for Hunter's Call loot. No more unintentional 50% bonus.

As for the orb payout - that sounds like it might need a bug report.

(A personal side note - I made 800k fishing and hunting megs today - I think the pay is pretty good at the current level)

  • was your price around 14.8k?

I saw your thread and did a test one just to see and sure enough it was less than 20k

  • yes, that is exactly the price. I am drafting a bug report with video proof right now
