I had an issue running the game on PC. "Error: Your Drivers had crashed and had been reset, please check if they are up to date"

  • I just built a brand new pc and downloaded Sea of Thieves. Whenever I try to run it, it shows me an error message. Every other game works perfectly with the drivers I have, except sea of thieves. I tried re-installing the game and the drivers, but nothing worked. Is there anything you guys can help me with. My graphics card: RTX 2070 super.

  • @vvzoomvv ... Are your drivers up-to-date? xD

  • @sweltering-nick Yes....

  • @vvzoomvv Make sure Windows is updated.
    Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update .

  • Yo. I have an 2080 ti. Got the same problem when i installed the new drivers with the dlss 2.0. I had to go back to the older nvidia driver to get sea of thieves to work for some weird reason. Installing an older driver should fix you're problem with sea of thieves.

  • @vVZoomVv @Martin-2rsen

I got a 2080ti too. The latest driver has to do with DSLL 2.0 or something like that for us in the RTX community. There is some incompatibility issue there that I dunno about.

Try this ^^. It worked for me.

  • @lord-szarvas Thanks, that fix worked for me. I had to add the game and turn off Image Sharpening.
