    Customize Your Ship Layout with a Sea of Thieves, Color, and player with A Phone/tablet App! I think this would be a great addition to the game and make the game more personal and immersive.

    What would you like the phone App to do at the least or most for your character and ship??

    In my opion having the ability to choose where the cannons containers, ammo box, grog, banana container, wood planks, brig, map, from deck to deck, depending on the player style would add another level of personality and customization in the game.

    It would be even more immersive if you could change the grog, barrel, boxes, and item skins of things on your boat!

    @crackerjackx13 Personally, I would rather have development time and money poured into the development of in-game content rather than the development of a mobile application.

    Because of the way that ship customization is handled in the game currently (everyone selects the constituent pieces from the ship customization chest at the shipwright), I have concerns with how saving such customization in an app would affect the rest of the crew's ability to customize the ship as well. If this game were a single player game or had client-side customization, or if Rare had an abundance of employees that weren't working on anything, I would be more on-board with this idea. I am absolutely with you in terms of wanting these different customization options added to the game, but I think I would rather have them accessed in the game than in a phone application.

    I agree with DrGlitch, the premise of your customization idea is sound (customization seems to be a running theme throughout the forums) but the development of a phone app would be, at this point, be kind of a waste of time. There is so much potential that needs to be further developed in the current game that media pieces outside gameplay should be on the back burner...they shouldn't even be in the kitchen.

    I cant believe how many times the same suggestions keep coming again and again and again and how many times i have to repeat myself:

    Costumising the ship layout is bull!

    The layout in every ship is how it is because it is a balance design choice and players are not supposed to get lost while entering enemy ships with wierd layouts!

    When repairing the sloop there is a reason why the player(s) dont need to waste time walking to the plank storage while repairing or walking to the cannonball storage while shooting the cannons BUT IT IS a design choice of balance that players have to take the time to walk a few seconds no matter what they do on the galleon!

    Galleon would get buffed if you put the cannonball storage on main deck and plank storage on lowest level deck.... that why: No!
