Seriously, what's the point. I've only ever been able to join in on the event once. How is Rare still not properly prepared for these events. I'd rather not have them going on, so I can at least play the game on my days off.
What's the point of community day?
@screenamesuck to bring the community together obviously. If you can’t play then, that’s not Rare’s fault. It’s also a full weekend so you’ve got more time.

I can’t even log in today due to server issues, so not liking Community Day so far.
it'll get worked out
it's an ambitious project they have going on but this community day/weekend still has a day and a half left. They will get it figured out.

Yeah I hope they get it fixed quickly. Fingers crossed.
a lot of people doing a lot of things and there is always something that pops up during events in life
it'll be alright, they are doing the best they can, they want it to work as much as everyone else does.
@wolfmanbush Did you even read my comment. My whole point is I CAN"T PLAY, because the servers NEVER work on community day. Ever time this event comes around the servers are screwed all weekend. I remember the extended it for a few hours on a Monday and that's when a majority of players have to go to work
@wolfmanbush This is an ongoing issue EVERY community day and it never gets resolved for me. It gets resolved whenever it's time to go back to work.

It's a do the best they can when something pops up kinda deal.
They are trying to get a bunch of people involved as well as watching, it's not like they aren't doing what they can. If things go south that negatively effects their goals, just gotta give them time to do what they can.
@wolfmanbush always love reading your replies, very down to earth and on point, hope ya had a good community weekend

much appreciated, and to you as well
I enjoyed it. All of my pop up plunder scenarios were interesting to me and I feel like this was the most interesting community day/weekend in design.
I think Rare did great, the content creators that I enjoy watching on twitch all did great, a lot of good vibes in parts of the community, I tend to stick to the good vibes I can find while I wander around.
I enjoy when people enjoy the experience and make the best out of their time here. I always view this as a special environment and one I am fortunate to be a part of.
How about you? did you have a nice weekend?

I haven't played, and I fully understand if this is the best they can do, but I've been hearing about this issue for years (from friends and on the forum).
After a certain point you'd think they could just ask Microsoft for some help on making it run smoothly, since they have 2+ decades of experience running online connected gaming experiences (in addition to other more corporate cloud-oriented products).

every has their own view and experience on it but I've played so much and so long and so consistently I just see where it's improved over time
beard issues used to last longer, we used to have quite a bit of data loss (which rarely happens now)
admittedly I'm not one to get fired up about issues that arise as I view them as a part of life and I don't see pickin' at people as they work on things as an effective way to get things done, but I have just seen improvement over time to where it's not as unpleasant as it once was imo.
Appart from a Community Flag , the same as ever just a different colour and a free emote , you've missed nothing . Pirates still fire first and talk never , so it's just another weekend like anyother except for the freebies ... In my very little opinion, a Community day where the majority of the " Community" doesn't want or dare to talk isn't a Community weekend at all.
@wolfmanbush I did thanks! Loved the pop up plunder that was fun, we got 3 boxes of secrets, think I made almost 5 million, lots of good sinks with not to many toxic people, and thankfully didn’t have big beard issues, only big complaint is I couldn’t buy skull of destiny all weekend 😝
@unleet1 Yeah would have been a lot cooler if players had to run to a certain tavern keep, seapost, random npcs on islands to claim the location, instead of alt tabbing and trying to see twitter messages. I did not get a single chest :D
