It wouldn't be a major update since Captaincy without sessions randomly not showing any banners! No quests received, no ship names, no sold items notifications, not even the name of the faction when you walk into their shop. Nothing. I'll often get the audio cue, but no banners at all.
This has happened EVERY MAJOR UPDATE SINCE CAPTAINCY. It seems to resolve after a few weeks, but until then I find myself frustratedly logging in and out hoping that the new session will actually work. Sometimes it does, and sometimes I can hop in and out a dozen times and still get no banners.
