Not gonna lie, I agree that has been the most frustrating part of this. I'm also not fond of progressing it with no confirmation at times of exactly what we did right.
I'm hoping we get some sort of breakdown at the end, so we can make sense of it all.
They could have easily split this into phases or chapters, where you'd get a satisfying conclusion to a question and the mystery arc would continue.
- Who was murdered?
- What is the murder weapon?
- Who does the murder weapon belong to?
- Who is the murderer?
- What was the motive?
- Conclusion
We've finished Step 0, since that was basically given to us when this started, but do we have any answers to any of the other parts after a couple months of doing this? Nope. I understand that they are setting a pace for how fast the mystery is able to be unraveled so that everyone can sort of follow along, but the problem is there hasn't been any actual development or relevant information revealed.
Personally, I wish most of the clues or mystery info would be in-game or on the main website on a new tabs being updated when someone find something and where we could get a small live chat section with other players.
Being all over the place right now is very difficult to follow up.
Something like : X player found a note on Y island. # of pirates found the same.
@realstyli I imagine the order of these words aren’t random so could all the words found before a word with quotations possibly be grouped together in a sentence? Or maybe we’ll be able to group all quotations words together? I’m trying to start structuring some of the sentences and wondering if discord has touched on the phrases yet. We’d have to possibly be getting quite a few words to make the quotations together a sentence.

The order of the words in that list is when they were posted to social media and added to the list, so I wouldn't use that as an indicator at all.
The box quote at the end could be a sentence ending symbol though, and not quoted words as everyone previously thought.

Actually, the list I am posting is a bit out of order... I just put them randomly at first, and at some point started adding at the end because it was easier. It makes no odds as we don't know the correct order yet anyway.
The Fandom WIKI might be a better place to look if folks want the list in order of when they were found and posted...

Also, the Discord is a good place to stay really up to date, someone usually posts as soon as one is found, and the important information is pinned (can get a little riled up though with some folk going a bit wild on theories).

We know this from the last Adventure where Amaranta says she was blamed for his death.
It's only at the end of that Adventure that Amaranta provides the Dark Brethren (including Wanda and Duke) the means to get back from the Sea of the Damned.
