WHAT ARR THE TOP THINGS YOU'D LIKE TO SEA??

  • Here's what I'd like to sea

Pets: cats(stay on boat near loot and attack people), monkeys (would sound alarms if boat is near), birds (could be flown to scout), dogs (smell out buried treasure).

New wildlife: crabs, turtles, lobster, rays, whales, dolphin, lizards more fish.

Enemies: more skeleton variety, giant crabs, giant turtles, giant snakes, giant lizards, npc ships, MEGALODON, Moby D**k, indigenous club wielding, spear throwing, bow and arrow using coconut catapult island folk!

Customization: more clothes/guns Changing you ships cannons, wheel, planks, lanterns, anchor etc...

Atlantis and the giant island turtle are a must!!!

A harpoon gun to spear enemy ships to grab onto them with the ability to walk the rope and board their ship, also the Crow's nest needs a rope to swing down from.

    Fishing!!!

Different fruits and vegetables each with different healing factors and recipes to craft special items with bonus perks like holding breath longer, extra health, dig faster, run faster, less falling damage, shoot from the cannon further, etc...

There's... More but I say start there lol

  • @theonetheonlyw Pets sound like a fun feature. SoT definitely needs more wildlife on the islands and in the sea. Crabs on the beach roaming about, lizards or panthers in the forested areas. Dolphins, whales, rays and more fish out in the waters!

Different foods would also be nice, and assuming if crafting will ever be a thing, cooked foods!

Kudos on the enemies! The world feels a bit empty without many enemies. Indigenous tribes that attack both skeletons and you!

  • I'd like to see less threads of people making terrible suggestions.

  • @theonetheonlyw As simple as it is, the rope from the crows nest sounds so great. One of the first things I wanted to do when I climbed a crows nest was swing down onto another ship, or into the water lol.

I'd like to see people who post not be jerks and leave wasteful comments to someone who gives suggestions. But I guess we can't all get what we want, can we? :)

  • love all these ideas.

We thought of adding a Viking (two sail) ship with 2-4 players and 2 cannons on each side.
    Making the sloop 1-3 players
    and the Galleon 3-6 players.
Increasing server size by 1 outpost and 1 ship for a total of 6-36 players at a time.

  • @irhcsajr terribly sorry matey

  • @theonetheonlyw the one thing I really want more is in terms of the islands. There should be native peoples that have their own unique loot that they guard. There should be elaborate dungeons and the like

  • @irhcsajr could you explain what was terrible? Just curious!

  • @gkubed i like more ships, I think there should be a 6 to 8 person large frigate that has a dingy to lower in the water to send people inland etc.

  • @theonetheonlyw larger ships can do more than one quest at a time too

  • Currently, my top few things I want to see is a plethora of new sea life, maybe a few extra land animals like crabs, beached sea turtles, and whatnot.

I also would like to see a nice, in-depth feature for fishing that coincides with the Merchant alliance.

Some new, more intricate, unique cursed chests.

And a Tortuga type of social hub that everyone spawns in before opting to go into an actual server to set sail.

  • @theonetheonlyw more sea monsters but first add a body to the kraken we have

  • @roughleech03117 lol agreed!!!

  • @theonetheonlyw sea? Are you sure you mean sea?

  • several things i like to have in the game with fellow players would be:

    hilarious p*****g of the ship:

    • HelloKitty Sails

    • a stupidly drawn black cat sail

    • viking helmets with one horn turned up and one down
      -a pink ship painting

    • fishing could be fun but if you really integrate something like that do it well

    • pink outfit parts for the pirettes ( since i tend to play with some females in team and it would add to it - so maybe add a pet for the shoulder of the females as well ? a pink cat :P

    • a parrot and a monkey in different colours e.g. blue, red, purple
in case it is possible do an interval that lets the parrot or monkey wander from one to the other shoulder

    • let these 2 pets be aggressive in confrontations:
pooflinging from the monkey and the parrot bites
-Giant seamonsters like a crab or a squid could be entertaining and fun

    • some annoying point of the skull forts is being robbed by other ships/players right after having done the hard work: whoever finishes the skullfort has a certain amount of immune time and cannot be attacked and robbed so the loot can be turned in.

    • enable a practice mode for combat and also combat person to person and limit the bloody simple handling for PC players to the same level as xboxone players.

    • please take proper care of the cheaters - it is damn annoying to fire at some other player 4 times and they are not dead ! and i get myself shot 2 times and i die.

  • I would have switch the role between cats and monkey because cat can sence when something is fishy : )

  • @eaudetourette65 I really want a practice mode, especially if your waiting for a friend who went to the bathroom or had to do something really quick, like a practice dummy at the bottom of the galleon or something like that.

    1. A Royal Navy: allowing the admirals and pirates to square off would build unity, allow a PvP faction (mercenaries), and possibly create some useful NPCs (traitors to the crown, enemies of my enemies, religious sailors, etc.).

    2. Non-game-affecting hideouts. Give pirates a place to build up hideout cosmetics. I know about the Pirate Legend place, but most people considered that underwhelming. Each pirate could build their own hideouts with items purchased from gold or real money. This area could be shared with your crew only.

    3. Grouping of pirates under historic flags. They don’t need to be on the same server for worry of multiple shops ganging up on sing ship crews. But larger pirate groups could compete in loot races, #of ships sank in a given week, voyages complete, here etc.

    4. Pirate island (Tortuga?) where mini games can be played, socialization can happen, lore can circulate, and crews could be formed.

    5. Ship weaponry: harpoons to tie ships together, oil to light the sea on fire, mirrors to blind pilots, and traps to lay on islands.

    6. FotD in game: such a cool ghost ship should not be kept in isolation. Allow certain players to be ghosts for a time being or use it as an NPC combative in an event (last ship sunk by the FotD gets a prize).

    7. Merchant Alliance Revamp: EVERYONE hates doing the MA voyages. These need to become more entertaining. Add fishing/hunting/crafting/manufacturing to the game.

    8. Exploration: nobody explores because there is little reward in doing so. And I know if there was hidden rewards online videos would ruine the “finding” part. Maybe only allowing certain locations that move to appear in different servers that people would be encouraged to look for. Award titles, cosmetics, items for finding them. Harder to find=greater reward.

    9. Battle Royal: people want to fight; let them, says I! Create an island (see #4) where you could enter matchmaking. A betting aspect could also be created for spectators.

    10. The Black Spot: let there be a curse that must be passed to other players that sends the kraken/sharks/FotD after them. They would have to give it to a different players to get the game to stop attacking them (PvE to the max).
