Well, while the lack of content at the moment is sad. The game does have more than 18hrs worth of content. When you actually think about it. Which puts it above most full price games these days.
@capt-crunch1969 No need to throw insults. I, like many other people I know enjoy this game immensely. And as a strategy to not get bored, we take breaks every couple days, sometimes going a day or three without playing. If you're here to complain that you can't get a refund because you didn't realize the game would be like it is now, you probably should've watched more youtube livestreams of the game before launch. Otherwise, take your complaints elsewhere.
As for never buying a game from Microsoft or Rare again, that is your own prerogative. But don't come in here and complain because you happen to not like the game or how empty it appears to be.
I won't argue that the game should have launched with more content, it should have. But at least Rare isn't charging for the new content that will (hopefully) be added in the future. I bought Destiny twice, both times there was very little content. But they offered more content later... for a steep price.

That last statement is the exact reason why gaming companies like RARE, Bungie, and EA keep pumping out incomplete garbage like this game.
"Oh yea, It's shallow and repetitive, but we THINK that maybe they're going to put more content into the game within a couple months so your opinion and displeasure with how you were misled is invalid"

@onlyairplane3 RARE are a much smaller company than the likes of EA. They need to produce a good product to keep the company alive that’s why I believe they will deliver. EA have NEVER listened to their community and that’s the difference. Anyway, time will tell.
you're a founder and a pioneer. you should have known what you got yourself into. try the lawsuite. i gonna get some popcorn and see you being demolished in court once they mention you knew the game before it got released. no scam, just bad decision making on your side.
as ppl mentioned, refunds are the other way. this is just a forum.

I supposed you'll buy games from EA or Activision now lol. Microsoft and rare are not even close to the most evil companies in the industry.

Rare is a gaming company with a hefty past of producing some of the best titles of all time, like EA and Bungie. Rare is funded by Microsoft, one of the largest gaming and computer companies in the entire world.
Don't make up excuses for them just because you like the idea of SoT. AAA price tags that had this much hype come with AAA scrutiny. Rare hasn't listened either. They released a glitchy, incomplete, repetitive, shallow sandbox game that had "end game" hidden under the guise of "Legendary Pirate", only for that to mean YOU HAVE TO DO THE EXACT SAME STUFF AS YOU DID BEFORE. Only this time, it has no meaning.
I loved this game in beta, and I told all my friends that they were hiding content, and that it was going to be released.
I was just like you. And I was wrong, and now I'm frustrated with the blind defence this game is getting while Battlefront II and Destiny get driven into the dirt (and they should). This game is just as big of an offender as The Division, Battlefront, Destiny, and all these other AAA flops that come out half released with promises of future content.
While the delivery may need some work, I understand the frustration. Also, Founders, Insiders, etc. were lead the entire time to believe that a lot more content was going to be available at lunch. I didn't really believe it and got more and more fed up with the game during the betas, so I cancelled my preorder.
The release of the game was handled very poorly, it's hard to argue that. If this really is a shell of the game they intend to provide us with, it should have been released under the Game Preview program and probably not at full price.
Just to confirm the 2 hours thing is rubbish when it comes to UK customers anyways because I had no problems. Played 50 hours+ and refunded.
Open a chat with them and tell them you want the refund and that's it, no questions asked.
(this link is UK, so you go to the one that fits in your case)(there must be some kind of UK law at least if not EU/US that covers us for digital purchases in this regard because MS aren't just refunding for the good of their health)
@onlyairplane3 I totally understand where your coming from, I never played the game in beta, I never buy any game before checking it out first. And EVERYONE should do the same! I watched streams first. The only game I pumped money into was Escape From Tarkov, for me, that game has the potential to be massive. SoT for me is a chill game, I smash that when I bored and I guess that’s the reason I enjoy it so much. I can understand the frustration of the people who bought it as their main game. We will just have to see what happens.

EXACTLY and funny thing is I really like the game its just it has no content its the same as in beta only difference is character customization witch is garbage IMHO and the in game customization so yes I feel as if I was lied to maybe not Rare but Microsoft for sure and this is a very shameful thing to do...
