Will PC & Xbox versions be on the same network?

    Will you be able to team up with friends that play only on Xbox or PC, so it doesn't really matter which system you're on? Or will either platform be like separate worlds & servers?

    Sea of Thieves is a Play Anywhere title. So everyone will be able to play together! :) I have an Xbox and I’ve already played with some friends who have it on PC. It works great!

    You can team up cross platform.

    cross play is supported in the beta, not sure what happens in the future. Imo, xbox and pc players shouldn't be allowed to play together as pc gamers can have an advantage over the xbox players.

    Nice! I also assume if, say, the wife wanted to play on Xbox and I ran the PC version, we'd need 2 separate accounts? Would be nice if we could both play in the same room, but we might be too cheap to buy the game twice :)

    @supman911 Can't Xboxes have a mouse and keyboard now? For me, I usually play with a gamepad most of the time on my PC too. Just more comfortable for me.

    @lll-necros-lll game sharing via Xbox Home might be possible but I couldn't tell you 100% and even less certain if it would work with a single Play AnyWhere title, although again I'm sure its probably possible.

    CrossPlay means yes, you would be playing both with and against PC and Xbox players regardless of the platform you are using! :)

    PlayAnywhere means if you buy the digital version you can start playing on Xbox then carry on on your PC and vice versa. :)

    @lll-necros-lll K/M support has been announced that it will be released at a later date. As of right now, though, I don't think K/M is supported yet. I can't wait for it to, though, so I can stop hearing consoles users complain that I have an advantage simply because I have a mouse. What is it the kids say these days? "Git gud" or something like that... :P
