Hi y'all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post here. Here is my situation, I got my homie who plays SoT in Australia with his Xbox and I'm here playing SoT on my PS5 in Malaysia. Australia and Malaysia is quiet a distant from each other. After playing together for like 30 mins to 1 hour, the game crashed on my PS5, the game frozen on me. This never happened to me before when I'm playing solo. I don't know what's the issue. Crossplay settings are turned on. Any PS5 players encountered these problems before?

If you were playing on his servers, then it’s likely that you lost connection or your PS5 just randomly conked out on you.
If they problem continues I would contact the support team.
It must be a connection issue then.
If you haven’t contacted support yet, I would go ahead and do that, because there isn’t much we can do for you here.

I used to have the same issue for awhile but came across another forum post that addressed the real problem. This fixed the problem couldn’t believe it as I used to crash constantly. The problem is that for some reason the ingame chat function causes the game to become unstable and crash constantly. The solution go to your chat settings and switch your mic settings to push to talk. Use ps5 party chat or discord instead .
