Aggressive cursed ships

  • When playing alone on sloop V.S. Aggressive cursed ship (Gallon) 9/10 they will sink you. You have the sloop curesed ship.... why doesn’t that pop out on a single player instead? Every time this happens to me I just shut game off and I’m done till my crew gets on.

  • @yourmom0083 Ahoy matey, never had trouble with aggressive skeleton ships. I usually flee or sink them for the extra loot.

  • @yourmom0083 see, you’re problem right there is that you shut the game off when it happens. I don’t mean for this response to be a “get gud “ response, but here’s what you need to do:

    1. research tips and tricks on how to solo PvE (plenty of YouTube videos and plenty of tips right here in forums
    2. try, try, try, try, and try some more

Just keep practicing and you’ll be able to do it. I know it’s hard and a bit daunting - it’s supposed to be. Solo sloping is hard mode. But it’s not impossible. You can do this.

  • Make sure you stock up on plenty of supplies because during most encounters with Skelships, they will drain your ship dry.

Try cutting the sail to half so you don't have to worry about not having enough time to steer clear of obstacles. Use cursed cannonballs too. The skellies may have an infinite amount, but you have variety.

Tackling Skelships solo is a daunting task, but not impossible, as previous replies have stated. Trial and error my friend. Good luck out there!

  • My best advice besides stocking up on supplies is run to the nearest large island or rock structure. The skelly ship will be forced to loop around the island or rocks giving you plenty of breaks to get patched and dry and prepared for when it comes back around. If you sail up and anchor up you can pivot with the ship and get 5 or 6 shots in before you're forced to go down below. It's time consuming and takes practice, but it's also very fulfilling to pull off.

  • @yourmom0083 I find the best way to defeat them is to get so close that they can't fire their canons then blast them non stop, occasionally raising and lowering the sail a bit so you don't overtake them
