Struggling to Join/Dive

I have had sea of thieves for a while now, I just got it two weeks ago, but I have had an issue that has been there since my first game. For some reason, joining a game, singleplayer especially, has a really good chance of just not working. It will tell me it failed to connect, and then give me a random error beard thing, but its never one specific one. Upon asking me If I want to rejoin the session, (apparently I was in, but wasn't?) when I select yes, it joins just fine the second time, only occasionally not working. The real issue is diving. (I have only voyage dove btw, idk about hourglass) If I dive in singleplayer, in both seas, I go underwater, and then stay there for about a min, and then disconnect, and it puts me all the way back to an outpost if I rejoin. Dives only work for me if im with friends, and they have only worked like, maybe twice, and I have tried at least 15 times. It also doesn't matter what voyage I do either. Rarely it works, but it mostly just disconnects me. I either do really bad research, or nobody I have found has had this exact issue, and have a resolution. I don't think its internet related, as everything else, including the game, still works fine, and I never get disconnected when on with friends in a crew, its only singleplayer.
