This game heavyily relay on audio ques. You can't really know when you are being attacked by a cannon , being boarded or being kegged sneakily without audio and.... not everyone can hear.
So I suggest rare adds some subtitles (with directional arrows) to audio ques. The best example i have is what minecraft did.
