I just stole my first Athena! So much fun. But how I pulled it off raised a question - What triggers the "Donated treasure" notification for players and when does it happen?
To explain - I tucked as two ships finished a FoF, and then as brought the Chest of Legends out I just stuck it away as they were still ferrying the vault treasure, and I buried it on the fort island until they left.
But I'm trying to work out when they would get the notification of "donated treasure" that could have let them know something was up. I'm thinking it must only be once it's on your ship? Does it definitely always happen?
I wanted them to know they got tricked!
