Mine is simply chased by another sloop and accidently dropped my rowboat with veil loot.
Name a Horrible Mistake that led you to being scuttled!
Not my ship, but my alliance was stacking a FoF, just finished, and all the kegs got loaded onto the other ship, which we were anchored right next to. We were both gallies.
One of them misclicked and accidentally hit a keg with his sword, completely obliterating their ship, knocking all of the masts off of mine as well as setting it on fire and filling one side of the hull with holes.
Thankfully almost all of their loot was in a rowboat and we were able to repair my ship, so we loaded it up and scooted out before anyone else on the server could investigate.
