Cant talk in game but mic is working.

    Whenever I press the voice chat button on sea of thieves I am not able to talk but unlike other issues I have seen online, my mic is not the problem. Sea of thieves says my mic has access and sea of thieves in windows settings also has access to my mic. Plus my problem isnt that the mic isnt working its that voice chat wont even turn on. When I press the button the icon doesnt even appear to show I am doing it. I don't know if the button is broken or if the system is broken or whatever but I cannot find anything online about this.

    I get the same thing. Just a feature where rare likes to strip your pirate's freedom of speech

    @ldog25rams Hey, at least they are not only protecting our freedom to streak, they are actively encouraging it

    I have a friend with same issue. A workaround that makes it work for him is to start xbox party chat (alone) - then it suddenly works fine in game for some reason. Try that, let me know if that helps.
