How to unbind text chat in controller

I okay sea if thieves on pc but use a controller, occasionally when I play my controller senses random inputs of buttons I did not press, this is a bug wit my controller not the game, the problem with the game is that most of the time it happens it opens my text chat, when it happens I can’t do anything at all, can’t move or anything, to fix it I have to press enter on my keyboard, I can’t unbind it either, can someone help or can rare fix it so I can unbind my text chat on controller
