Frames Problem In Sea Of Thieves

    Hi these are my specs

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 super
    Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk Max
    RAM: 2 sticks of 16 gb ddr4 3600MHz

    For some reason I can only get 40Fps in Sea Of Thieves with Mythical settings with these specs and I would like 144 for my monitor. I don't understand why I'm only getting 40 fps, if anyone has an answer please reply.

    Try a fresh gpu driver install with DDU

    Sea of Thieves servers aren't doing to great at the moment. They've been running poorly for close to a year and a half now. Devs should really focus on a quality of life update as we've gotten enough reskinned events to last a life time.

    @bigbabychurch You're not alone, I used to play the game at stable 60FPS, and currently I'm getting drops to 45FPS for no reason.

    The latest update also presented a water bug, in which when you stand on the ship stairs the water will disappear (this will affect gameplay greatly in Galleons, and you can't see the water on the second floor when sinking).

    @bigbabychurch what resolution are you set at?

    I play at 2k with a 3900x and 2080 super and usually get between 90 and 120 fps at mythical.

    Maybe try checking all the drivers for your mobo, gpu, etc
