Mods

  • Dear mods, heres a suggestions for you guys: How about instead of closing threads you dont agree on, you start actually banning people who [Mod edit] in threads and derail it?

Really? A guy calls others [Mod edit] and isnt banned? Comes back to the same thread to starts [Mod edit] in it again? And the thread is closed because of him?

People tell you to monitor and remove off topic posts so the thread doesnt get closed, 5 posts later, the thread is closed because you refuse to ban a bigot or remove off topic posts? Instead you lock the thread which had nothing to do with what that person was saying because of "baiting and trolling".
Great, so I can go into a thread that I diagree with, call people [Mod edit] and it gets closed? What the actualy [Mod edit]?

Great job "moderating" the forums guys!

  • @chonky-lemon Ahoy matey!

The appropriate actions will be taken where necessary, but in the short term, I decided to cut off the thread.

Unfortunately as this post does break the no discussions about moderator actions rule I am having to drop anchor here.

But please rest assured we do work our hardest to keep this place safe, family-friendly and as positive and welcoming to all as possible.

If you ever feel a moderators action has overstepped the mark you can always report it using the Support Tool and a Rare employee will take a look at the case.

But I hope you feel the same way we do that this community is a sacred place and we love it just as much as you do.

Sometimes actions have to be taken and they may not be perfect straight away but we always aim to put things right and keep discussions moving forward and as positive as possible.

    Regards

    Musicmee :)
