-PC- Membership to play?

    If me and a bunch of friends get this game on PC will we have to pay for the Xbox live membership to play with each other or will SoT ever come out to steam?

    No, for PC you won't need Xbox Live membership. Also no, SoT won't be on Steam.

    Basically says if you don't have Xbox live on PC you cannot
    -use a Xbox one controller in Sea of thieves
    -get Microsoft trophies
    -use Microsoft DVR
    -use cloud save for sea of thieves

    @zxepicgamer all you really need is the silver xboxlive/Microsoft account. thats the account thats free. you just cant play online games on the xbox itself. but you can play any crossplay online games free on pc. you can also use party chat for free. where on the xbox you need gold membership to use party chat.
